Scope
v1 supports only the JK / JIKONG protocol. This is a deliberate choice based on hardware-verified measurement rather than documentation — we expand as new brands are sourced and verified the same way, not as a promise.
Frequently asked questions
Which BMS brands are supported?+−
Only the JK / JIKONG BLE protocol is supported today, verified against real hardware. Other brands (e.g. JBD) will be added once sourced and verified the same way — it's a roadmap, not a commitment.
Is the app free?+−
Yes, downloading and core monitoring are free (ad-supported). An optional monthly/yearly subscription removes ads.
Is changing settings safe?+−
Every write is range-checked and confirmed with a device readback. That said, protection settings (overvoltage, overcurrent, etc.) can damage the battery if set incorrectly — only change them if you understand the manufacturer's limits. See the Terms of Use for details.
Is my data stored in the cloud?+−
No. BMS measurement data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share a file yourself.
Is it the same on iOS and Android?+−
Yes, same codebase and feature set on both platforms.
